Loserville Songs: We Don't Fit In, Freakboy, Vicki the Punk, Call It A Crush, The Lucky One, Love, Inc., Drug Of Choice, These Dead Flowers, Down, Rip It Like A Band-aid, Hard Goodbyes, Aftertaste, Loserville, A Rockstar Now, The Outcasts
The latest solo cd from Monty Colvin, formerly of Galactic Cowboys. Monty played bass, guitar, and did all the lead and harmony vocals on this 15-song "rock opera". Returning to the heavier side of Monty's musical roots, Loserville fuses heavy metal riffs, and slamming punk intensity, with memorable melodic hooks. The song A Rockstar Now features a guitar solo by the ledgendary guitarist of Kansas, Kerry Livgren. $15.00 (includes S & H). Listen
Clown School Dropout Songs: Let's Go, Psycho Ex-Girlfriend, Guess What?, Watchin' The Clock, Fanatic, Mall Punks, A Better Place, Everything Breaks Down, Vampire Girl, Fake, Popular Guy, Bill, Lift You Up.
The 2nd cd from Crunchy marked a harder edge from the previous release. Monty recorded Clown School Dropout in his own studio, playing all guitars, bass, keyboards and singing all the vocals. The sound is much darker, and biting than the tunes on ADS, but still has a pop-punk feel to most of the cd. $15.00 (includes S & H). Listen
Sorry. No longer available. The first CD from CRUNCHY All Day Sucker
After leaving Galactic Cowboys in 2000, Monty Colvin was signed to SAR Records to record his first solo cd, All Day Sucker. The cd was a departure from the heavy metal sound GC fans were accustomed to, but still contained the familiar harmony vocals and catchy hooks. Though it was well suited for a broader, pop-oriented audience, the cd never saw the light of day. SAR Records went out of business shortly after the cd was released. Sadly, SAR kept the rights to the cd, and it is no longer available.
